Promotion

Yesterday I received a promotion at work. I am now General Manager at Cool Cabins. It is bitter sweet though being that Robert was laid off and no longer work there. Everything happens for a reason and I believe that he will find another career real soon. I am happy about the promotion and it will given me oppourtunities to grow with the company as well as earning a higher salary.

Victoria 4 Years 9 Months

My first baby, oh how I loved her when she was born. Everything was so scary, yet so sweet. She was so tiny at birth that I was afraid to hold her. She weighed a total of 4 lbs, 3 oz. We didn't get to bring her home from the hospital until she was two weeks old and had gained a little more weight. How would anyone ever be able to tell she came into the world at half the wight of a normal size baby girl. She is such a sweet little girl and I love her more and more every day. She will be 5 in July and she is a PC, you know as they say in the commericals.

Chocolate Malted Crunch

Next to the Founder's Favorite at Cold Stone, Chocolate Malted Crunch from Rite-Aid (formerly Thrifty) is my favorite ice cream flavor. I decided to blog about it becuase I am home on vacation this week and have a majot craving for it. I don't however feel like driving 20 minutes into town to get some in a large sugar cone. Maybe I will feel like driving later on tonight.

My Husband

I love my husnabd with all my heart. I have been in love with him ever since I was 16. I am so happy that we found our way back to one another and now have three beautiful children.

Cars, Cars, and more Cars...

My son loves cars! Everytime I want to try and take pictures of him he puts whatever car he has in his hands at the time and puts them in front of his face so I can take a picture of them. Here are a few examples.

Easter 2009

This year for Easter we went down the hill to my aunt and uncle's house in Whittier. All my family was there along with my aunt's family. There was aa ton of food, fun and even Rock Bank. Yeah I sang a few songs. We had an Easter egg hunt for the little kids and one for the big kids. This year Christopher was able to understand what was going on and had fun hunting for eggs.

Easter Confetti Eggs

Ever since I can remember my family has been making these. I remember making these every year with my mom, now I get to make them with my daughter. They are so much fun. I have just spent the last few hours of my time putting them together. They are time consuming, but are well worth the wait. There may be some people who don't even know what I am talking about. I think it may be a hispanic thing! Anyway, if for those of you who don't know what they are I am going to tell you!




Items you will need are egg shells with only the top portion cut out, confetti, egg coloring, tissue paper, scissors, and glue.

You will need to save up these egg shells thru out the year to have enough to go around. Completely clean out the inside with soap and water and dry. When you are ready to put together color the eggs and let dry. Fill with confeti. Cut tissue paper in quares (big enough to cover hole). Put glue all the way around the outside of the hoel and put tissue paper over the glue to seal.

Once complete take to your family celebration and when people least ecpect it CRACK it over their head. I told you they were FUN! HAPPY EASTER!

Twilight

Well I have to say that I loved, loved Twilight, the movie. I am now reading the book and can't wait to read New Moon. I didn't think that I would like it, even though I do like movies about vampires. Next to Interview with a Vampire, this was my favorite vampire movie.

Tonight I invited my friend Johanna over for dinner and a movie and we watched Twilght. She hadn's seen it yet and she loved it. Another Twilight freak in the making. She wants to read the books now too!

Wow, I can't believe how fast my baby girl has grown. She is now almost 16 months old. Even though she is growing older, too me she is still my little baby. My husband and I have been talking about having another baby, but we are going to have to put that on hold for now until we are more financially stable. For now I have my mini gitl to hold on too. She is also talking already. She clearling says Mama. I love her so much.
